  • Pick two big events that has happened in your life in the "ten year"that has been most meaningful to you
    • Write two diary entries explaining those event (this can be typed)
  • Refer to the questions on the last blog post.

  • We are going to have a mock 10 year high school reunion next week
  • Answer all of the following questions realistically: 
    • What college did you go to?
    • What level of education did you finish?
    • Was was your major(s)?
    • What is your current job?
    • What is your current salary?
    • What city are you living in?
    • What is the greatest professional accomplishment so far?
  • Choose at last 4 of the following to answer (if the answer is no then that does not count as one):
    • Are you married?  Describe your spouse/wedding.
    • Do you have children?  Describe them.
    • What are your hobbies?
    • Do you have pets?  Describe them.
    • What is your greatest personal accomplishment so far?
    • How many weddings have you been in and whose were they?
  • Roll a dice to have one of the following affect your life:
    • 1-got a job promotion
    • 2-car was totaled
    • 3-you were unemployed for a year
    • 4-took in a family member
    • 5-career change/went back to school
    • 6-won lottery
      • Roll again to see how much you won

Interview Prep

Objective:  I CAN be prepared for interviews in my career.


  • Pretend you have graduated from college and are now looking for a job in your field
    • You are going to be interviewed and you are going to interview someone else
    • Your job is to make sure you can confidently answer questions related to your field
      • there are sample questions below
  • Look over the rubric your classmate will use to grade your interview next Tuesday: Rubric
    • Look at the you're hired column
      • 1.  Which 3 do you think you will be the easiest for you
      • 2.  Which 3 do you think will be the hardest for you
  • Look at the list of the most asked interview questions: 
    • Interview Questions
      • 3. Pick at least 4 strong questions you will ask someone else from this list that you think will help you get to know someone 
      • 4.  Pick at least 6 questions that you think would best represent you and answer them to TO THE BEST OF YOUR ABILITY!
        • These do not have to be the same as the ones you will ask others
        • These should be well thought out answers that should be multiple sentences each!
Next Tuesday
